Harvard Business School Features Foremost Group Founder and Family

June 7, 2016 — Foremost Group Founder and Honorary Chairman, Dr. James S.C. Chao, his late wife, Mrs. Ruth Mulan Chu Chao, and their family were recently featured by Harvard Business School’s Baker Library for their commitment and generosity towards the promotion of education, history and culture at Harvard University and around the world.

To commemorate Ruth’s legacy of faith, family, and philanthropy, generous gifts from the Chao family established the Ruth Mulan Chu Chao Center at Harvard Business School, including the first building named after an Asian-American and the first building named after a woman in Harvard’s history.

“My family is honored to support such an esteemed institution like Harvard Business School” said Foremost Group Chair and CEO Angela Chao. “Our family history, especially my mother’s legacy, is rich with tradition, values and spirit, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Harvard Business School to promote education in the years to come.”
